Kasuga-zukuri

Kasuga-zukuri
   The shrine architectural style (-zukuri) of the honden of the Kasuga Taisha. It dates from the early eighth century and incorporates Chinese-style roofs, decoration of red, gold and vermilion and lightly curved chigi.
